   <title>31 August 2006: TiconderogaOnline and ASiF launch Donation Drive</title>
    <description>In September 2006, two Australian SF web projects are asking their readers to show their appreciation through small donations, and offering prizes and limited-edition rewards for doing so. TiconderogaOnline and ASif! have teamed up in a spirit of co-operation in order to launch September as Donation Month. In addition to a warm, fuzzy feeling, donors will receive a limited edition PDF chapbook and the chance to win several prizes. The goal is to raise $2,000 which will cover operating costs for both sites for a year.

   <title>7 August 2006: TiconderogaOnline Forum offline indefinitely</title>
    <description>Due to suspected hacker activity the TiconderogaOnline forum has been taken down. Someone got in, created a bunch of bogus admin accounts and deleted all the messageboards. Why anyone would want to do this is beyond the comprehension of the editorial staff. The dead links to the forum will be removed later today. People wishing to comment on anything TiconderogaOnline related are more than welcome to use the TiconderogaOnline livejournal. Kind regards - The rather pissed off editors.

   <title>19 July 2006:
   Troy reviewed on ASiF</title>
    <description>

Troy, by Simon Brown, is reviewed at the ASiF site by Tansy Rayner Roberts.

"Just from looking at the outside, this is a book that deserves a wider audience than the attendees of a SF convention. It should be in every literary bookshop in the country ... Ticonderoga Publications are definitely up there with some of the better overseas indie press outfits as far as style, design and all that other shiny stuff goes ... Troy also provides an introduction to one of Australia's premier short story writers of the 1990's, and to some of the better fiction that the Australian SF magazines of that period were publishing."

   <title>15 May 2006:
   TiconderogaOnline now accepting donations</title>
    <description>

TiconderogaOnline offers a range of quality fiction and non-fiction completely free of charge to our readers. And we remain firmly committed to continuing this practice. Delivering this level of quality costs us money in writer payments, web hosting fees, postage and other incidentals. Furthermore we realise that while we pay our writers an amount that is fairly standard in this line of biz, it's a lot less than what our writers deserve. We dream of a day when we can offer a decent writer payment that doesn't come out of our own hip pockets.
Obviously advertising is one answer, and we are continuing to pursue this avenue strongly. But every bit helps, and the editors at TiconderogaOnline have decided that we would make available a means for anyone so inclined to contribute to the continued vitality of our quality Australian webzine.

   <title>9 April 2006:
   TiconderogaOnline Issue 7 reviewed at Horrorscope</title>
    <description>
    "Ticonderoga is one of those magazines that surprise me more every time I
    read it. This month it does so again with a great offering of articles, reviews
    and interviews, and lets not forget the main reason I love it so much, those
    far out short stories. This month the short stories take on a more somber
    tone, than those of last issue, and just like last issue they are both strange
    and thoroughly entertaining." </description>
